For the past year or so I have been organizing the recall effort against the fascist Mayor of Houston, John Whitmire. The current Council has been largely unwilling to stand up against this regime and I am running to make that change. I want to build a Houston that ensures everyone’s basic needs are met before throwing away tax dollars on a $2B convention center for private benefit.
Say no to business as usual candidates
It’s time to throw the rulebook out the window, the neoliberal establishment needs to be replaced with a system that puts people above profit. We live in a time where law is being disregarded by those in power and the will of the people ignored. This election serves as a chance to give a voice to those the Mayor and broader Council would rather ignore. I have spent time serving as a link between grassroots organizers and those in office, that experience will allow us to work together to put the issues YOU care about on the table. As your councilman I would make the most of Prop. A and be the consistent 3rd vote to get the issues that really matter the attention they need.
